From Religion to True Encounter with Christ.
I am 22 years. I was born in Huánuco, but when I was seven years old my parents decided to move to Lima in search of better opportunities. We settled in Santa Rosa, a district north of the city, where I lived until I was sixteen. That stage deeply marked my story.
Since I was a child I heard about God, but I always perceived him as a distant figure, someone immense but disconnected from our daily struggles. This mistaken vision prevented me from understanding the central message of the Gospel: salvation by grace. I believed that somehow I had to be good enough to earn God's favor, a burden that was overwhelming and unattainable.
Everything changed when I was sixteen. The loss of a beloved uncle struck me deeply and led me to question my life and my relationship with God. I asked myself, “Would I be ready to meet Him if today was my last day?” The answer was clear and painful: I was not. It was then that I realized my urgent need for a Savior. I remembered the words I had heard so many times: Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. Heartbroken, I decided to accept the gift of salvation He offers. His sacrifice on the cross not only paid my debt but also set me free.
From that moment on, my life came full circle. I decided to entrust my future to God, who has guided every step since then. This led me to become part of Manos Que Suman, an organization that not only helped me grow but also allowed me to serve underprivileged youth. Together, we share opportunities for personal development and a message that can transform lives.
Currently, I have a small cleaning business that allows me to support myself financially, but I am also developing skills in video production. The latter has been an unexpected and powerful channel to impact others. Through the videos, I serve at the Church Project Lima plantation and bring a message of hope to more people.
I desire that everything I do, from my work to my creative projects, will be a tool for others to know the transforming love of Christ. I am convinced that nothing is more important than sharing the Gospel.
I invite you to meet Jesus, the Savior who transformed my life and can change yours. If you are looking for purpose, peace or answers today, He is waiting with open arms. My story is just a reflection of what God can do when we surrender our lives to Him.
Thank you for reading my testimony. My prayer is that God will also transform your life and use you to eternally impact others, all for God's glory!

From a Search to an Encounter with God.
I want to share my story to exalt what God has done in my life and how He has transformed me from the inside out.
I am 23 years old and I live in La Molina. I am currently studying nursing. I come from a family with many needs; I am the oldest of three brothers and I was born in the jungle, in the city of Iquitos. A significant change marked my childhood: when I was six years old, my parents decided to move to Lima for a better future. We settled in Santa Rosa, north of Lima, where I spent most of my childhood and adolescence. Although my family always strived to get ahead, uncertainty was a constant in our lives. It was in the midst of this stage that, at the age of 14, I heard the name of JESUS for the first time during a Christian camp. That moment marked the beginning of something I did not fully understand at the time: a seed of the Gospel had been planted in my heart.
From that moment on, God began to surround me with people and projects that shaped my life. One of them was LEGACY, an initiative of Manos Que Suman (MQS), where I learned to work in a team and develop skills I never imagined I had. Later, through another project called HOPE OPERATION, I discovered the value of helping others without expecting anything in return. I still remember with joy the days when, together with Jerónimo (an MQS transport), we would go around different areas of Lima taking food to common pots during the COVID-19 pandemic. Those moments not only filled me with happiness but also awakened in me a deep desire to serve.
However, despite all that I had learned and experienced, I felt that something essential was missing in my life. I had accumulated beautiful experiences, but I had not made a personal decision regarding my faith.
That void was finally filled on January 25, 2024, during a Christian camp in Argentina. That day, while serving in the medical center area, I clearly understood that I needed CHRIST as my only Savior. It was a transforming moment, the beginning of a new life full of purpose and direction. It was no longer just an emotional moment, but a total surrender that gave meaning to everything.
Today I have the privilege of serving God in worship at Church Project Lima and as one of the coordinators of LEGACY, where I can host and support young people on the weekends. God has placed a dream in my heart: to complete my nursing degree and organize health campaigns for children and adolescents in remote areas of my country. My goal is to bring medical care and share the Gospel and God's love with those who need it most. I still face challenges, but I am certain I do not walk alone. God is with me, guiding and strengthening me every day.
I invite you to join me in this mission. Whether through your prayers, your support, or even by joining us in one of our initiatives, you can be part of the change God is bringing to many lives. Together we can bring hope, love, and transformation to those most need it.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Our actions can make an eternal difference in someone else's life.
Let's do this together, for the glory of God!
